1. Why is the stem of the straight-stroke control valve thinner?
It involves a simple mechanical principle: the sliding friction is large, the rolling friction is small, the valve stem of the straight-stroke valve moves up and down, and the packing is slightly compressed, it will pack the valve stem very tightly, resulting in a larger return difference. Therefore, the valve stem is designed to be very small for non-electric gate valves, and the packing often uses PTFE packing with a small friction coefficient to reduce the backlash. However, the problem is that the valve stem is thin, which is easy to bend, and the packing life is short. This is solved The best way to solve the problem is to use the valve stem of the travel valve, that is, the quarter-turn valve. Its stem is 2 to 3 times thicker than the stem of the straight-stroke valve welded power station, and the long-life graphite packing is used. Good rigidity, long life of the packing, but small friction torque and small hysteresis.
2. Why is the cut-off pressure difference of the quarter-turn valve larger.
The cut-off pressure difference of the quarter-turn valve is large because the resultant force of the medium on the valve core or valve plate of the high temperature and high pressure power station valve produces a very small torque on the rotating shaft. Therefore, it can withstand a large pressure difference.
3. Why use rubber-lined butterfly valves for desalinated water media, and fluorine-lined diaphragm valves have a short service life.
The desalinated water medium contains low concentration of acid or alkali. High temperature and high pressure valves are more corrosive to rubber. The corrosion of rubber is manifested as expansion, aging, and low strength. The use of rubber-lined butterfly valves and diaphragm valves is poor. The essence is that the rubber is not resistant to corrosion. The rubber-lined diaphragm valve is improved to a fluorine-lined diaphragm valve with good corrosion resistance, but the diaphragm of the fluorine-lined diaphragm valve cannot withstand folding up and down and the knife gate valve is broken. It causes mechanical damage and shortens the life of the valve. Now the best way is to use a special ball valve for water treatment, which can be used for 5 to 8 years.
The valve is a kind of pipeline accessory, it is a device used to change the section of the passage and the flow direction of the medium, and control the movement of the conveying medium. The blind valve has diversion, cut-off, adjustment, throttling, check, diversion or overflow Functions such as pressure relief, specifically, the valve has the following purposes:.
Cut-off valves: connect or cut off the medium in each section of the pipeline, such as gate valves, stop valves, ball valves, plug valves, diaphragm valves, butterfly valves, etc.
Adjusting power station valves and valves: adjust the flow and pressure of the medium in the pipeline, such as throttle valves, regulating valves, pressure reducing valves, safety valves, etc.
Shunt valves: change the flow direction of the medium in the pipeline, used to distribute, separate or mix the medium, such as distribution valves, three-way plug valves, three-way or four-way ball valves, traps, etc.
